On 22 June 2026, representatives of the Bahamas Shipowners Association (BSA) attended the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) Board of Directors Meeting and Annual General Meeting in Rome, excellently hosted by Confitarma, the Italian Shipowners Association.
Representing the BSA were Capt. Domenico Rognoni, Chairman of the BSA, Mr John Adams, Senior Advisor to the BSA Board and Chairman of the ICS Long-Term Measures Working Group, and Mr Anders Brodje, BSA Manager.
The meetings brought together shipping leaders from across the world to discuss key priorities for the sector and the continued development of international shipping policy in an increasingly complex global environment.
BSA values the opportunity to contribute to these important discussions and to support collaborative efforts aimed at ensuring a strong and sustainable future for shipping.
The BSA would like to thank Mr Emanuele Grimaldi for his great work as Chairman of the ICS during the past four years, and congratulate Mr John Denholm CBE for being elected as new Chairman.
