The Bahamas Shipowners Association (BSA) was proud to be represented by its Chair, Captain Domenico Rognoni, at the Gala Dinner on 7 November, honoring Dr. Brendamae Cleare, Founding President of the LJM Maritime Academy.
Dr. Cleare’s visionary leadership and unwavering dedication have guided the Academy from its inception to national prominence. Under her stewardship, LJMMA has become a cornerstone of maritime education in The Bahamas —an institution that has opened doors for hundreds of young Bahamians, now thriving in maritime careers around the world.
The BSA has greatly valued the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Cleare over the years and has witnessed firsthand her passion for maritime education and workforce development. Her legacy will continue to inspire and shape the next generation of Bahamian maritime professionals for years to come.
